Founded by Gemma Shepherd in 2005, S H E P H E R D england works predominantly with wool, designing and making homewares and accessories. The brand is recognised for it’s honed craftsmanship and meticulous finishing techniques that explore and celebrate the visual language of modern art movements and popular culture - in turn creating pieces that are both striking and luxurious in their function - with a timeless aesthetic.

Crafted from the highest quality, Scottish spun superfine R.W.S Lambswool all S H E P H E R D products are designed, made and individually hand finished in-house. This hands-on approach is seen as intrinsic to the identity of the brand.

The knitted pieces are constructed using vintage domestic knitting machines, these machines were produced in Japan in the 1970’s and are now maintained by expert servicing and care. Hand linking techniques are often used to create textural interest and detailing to the pieces - this is a slow and meticulous process, refined over many years of practice.
